Non-Exhibiting Manufacturers, Producers & Suppliers (NONEX) Policy:
Our exhibitors have asked us to help Hospitality Design maintain its professional business atmosphere and we join them in this endeavor. Our policy regarding Non-Exhibiting Producers & Suppliers (NONEX) attending the show states: Hospitality Design will charge Non-Exhibiting Manufacturers and Manufacturers Reps a fee of $200 to attend the expo. A limit of 5 persons per non-exhibiting Manufacturer/Rep company may attend, and Hospitality Design will continue to reserve the right to refuse registration entrance to any Non-Exhibitor Manufacturer/Rep individual.

Attendee Cancellation Policy:
Attendee cancellation requests for refunds must be received in writing by August 15, 2010 and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given to new registrants  after August 15, 2010. Attendee requests received will not be processed until after the close of the event. No refunds will be made for exhibit hall only registrations OR special event tickets. Cancellation requests should be faxed to 770-777-8700 or mailed to: Registration Department, 1145 Sanctuary Parkway, Suite 355, Alpharetta, GA 30009. An organization may substitute one person for another. If event ticket(s) are lost, you will be charged the FULL event price in order to replace the lost ticket(s).

• No children under the age of 16 will be permitted on the show floor. Proof of age is required.

• No cameras or video equipment allowed on the show floor. Violators will be prosecuted.

• No strollers or rolling carts larger than airline carry on size are permitted on the show floor.

On Wednesday September 26, the Metropolitan New York Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute will present its annual trade show and education conference in New York. This year the full-day event focuses on sustainability, with the topic Refining Green.

Several hundred architects, engineers, designers and construction professionals are expected to attend the event, which will feature Richard A. Cook, partner at Cook + Fox Architects as the the keynote speaker. In addition to networking opportunities and leads, Refining Green will include a diverse offering of seminars and planned exhibit time. The day will conclude with a wine and cheese party, from 5pm-to 7pm.

The event will be held in Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway at 36th Street, from 9am to 7pm.

Co-sponsors are the NY Chapter USGBC, AIA New York Chapter, New York Industrial Retention Network, Industrial & Technology Assistance Corporation, IIDA/NY, and Professional Women in Construction.

Design Green Now is a series of FREE panel discussions exploring the integration of innovative tools in the greening of consumer products. These sessions will inspire and empower emerging designers to build a sustainable future NOW!

Panelists include rock star designers from top consultancies like Frog, Smart Design and Fuse Project along side leading green producers like the sportswear company Nau. They will share their current green projects, the challenges they face and the tools they use for successful sustainable design. The discussions will highlight sustainable materials, product life cycles and social impact.

Documentation of the panels will become an online catalog of the latest dialog in green design. Videos will be hosted here after the panels!
